Baniyas — Martyrdom of Ahmad Khadr Aqel and his mother Lara al-Mashan in the Baniyas massacre

Ahmad Khadr Aqel, a well-known Alawite Syrian comedy content creator, was martyred alongside his mother Lara Mohammad Saleh al-Mashan in the Baniyas massacre.

His mother Lara al-Mashan comes from Arab tribes in Deir ez-Zor and belongs to the Sunni sect.

The mother and her son were killed in their home in Baniyas by elements of Julani's jihadist regime.

The family was killed like hundreds of Alawite families in Baniyas who were killed in their homes. The mother's Sunni affiliation did not spare her — her husband is Alawite and her son is Alawite.

The truth cannot be hidden — the sectarian Baniyas massacre is documented in photos and videos.

Supporters of the jihadist regime attempt to exploit the blood of Mrs. Lara because she is Sunni, while ignoring that her husband and children are Alawite — and that is why they were killed. The family's obituary was published on the Damascus death notices page, as burial will take place in Damascus.
